Description
Hosted by FlashAcademy® in collaboration with two experienced teachers, this session will explore how school leaders can take a strategic, whole-school approach to supporting EAL learners’ wellbeing.
Trust Lead for SEND and EAL at Fairfax Academy, Helen Williams and EAL Coordinator from Lipson Academy, Lukasz Mlodziniak will share effective practice from their schools, including understanding learner backgrounds and cultural diversity, using tools such as FlashAcademy® and valuing home languages as part of identity, belonging and language acquisition.
Attendees will gain practical ideas to strengthen their inclusion strategy and build a culture of belonging for EAL learners.
